oh manly!

After 2 unsuccessful attempts, Rob and I finally made it out to Manly Beach, a lively beach town located on the north side of Sydney harbour and accessible from Circular Quay by ferry. Our hesitation in getting there may have been due partly to laziness, but more because of the unfortunate persistent cloudy weather. Manly was undoubtedly worth the wait for sunnier skies -- look at how gorgeous it is!

After having brekkys, we set out on a scenic walk along the shoreline and through some of the residential areas of Manly. It was really one of the most gorgeous locations I've ever visited.

Here is a photo of the group in front of Shelly Beach, which according to the New York Times, provides the view for the most romantic restaurant in Sydney.

At the end of the day, we made our way back to Circular Quay by ferry. The views on the return trip were stunning, as usual. Have you had enough of the opera house yet?
